Past Events

1. Discovery Sydney – We had successfully ran the Discovery Sydney event jointly with 4 other societies and it turned out to be massive and just plain extraordinary.

2. The Chopsticks Welcome Party with 7 hours of singing and parting was also a success! Check out the uploaded photos!!

3. The BBQ@coogee Beach with the SSS was also an awesome event. Nice sunshine and nice food…

4. AGM was held on the 26th of March. The Chopsticks committee for the year 2009 was chosen. We guarantee we will organize heaps of fun events!

5. Mahjong Session was great! We gathered together and played the traditional Chinese cultural game – Mahjong. It was exciting!!! Also, thanks those for teaching our members Mahjong!!=] Mahjong photos were uploaded.

6. YumCha – There were like 70+ people attended Yumcha! We interacted with eachother and had fun playing games. The table who lost the game stood up in front of everyone and sung a song! The song was GREAT!! XD The food was also delicious. Thanks everyone for attending yumcha!!!!

7. G’day China – We set up a stall at G’day China. Games were played and a video about Chopsticks was shown.

8. Chopsticks BBQ – It was an Australian style BBQ with Chinese food. The menu included fried noodles, sausages, dumplings etc. And, it was DELICIOUS. Special thanks to those who help with the food preparation! =] BBQ photos are now available.

9. Mahjong with Tea – Our first joint event with the Oriental Tea society. We had mahjong games along with tea and snacks. It was just awesome!!!! There was a lucky draw and the prizes were 2xMayDay tickets and posters!! Congrats those who received the prize!

10. B.O.N.D – Chopsticks committee gathering!! We went to Darling Harbour for bowling and pancakes!! oooo…our committee members can actually bowl!!! XDDD

11. Mahjong with Tea II – another funnn mahjong session with tea and snacks!!!

12. Chill or Chili – hotpot night at Red Si Chuan Restaurant. We had a very hot hotpot night! We also got to know more about our fellow members while we were having hotpot! It was a funn and delicious night!

13. Sing Till U Die (IV) – Another karaoke marathon!! We had 5 hours of non-stop singing!!!

14. Chopsticks in the Chocolate Kitchen – It was an amazing night!! We had fun making dumplings and chocolate Tang Yuan!!! They all tasted very very delicious!! We also watched a Taiwanese movie called “Cape no. 7″. =]

15. FOB inter-society Cruise Party!! – It was just AMAZING!!! XDD (Hugo: “Amazing” is not enough to describe how great the party was!! But anyway, I hope you all had a fun night and a big thank you to all the helpers!!)

16. A Date With Lunar – We had a lovely day at the beach!! Nice Sun~Nice BBQ~~And we played with fire!!! Thanks for coming everyone^^

17. Chopsticks YumCha!: We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Zilver. We also went to Passion Flower for icecream afterwards!

18. Chopsticks FlashBack 2009!!!! A treat to our hardworking Chopsticks commitees! It was a totally awesome night with food and karaoke!!!!! Thank you for coming ~!!!!
